EADS CCR The “corporate” EADS Centre of Research develops innovating technologies and methods for the subsidiary of the EADS group (such as Airbus, EADS ST, Eurocopter, MBDA). The engineering systems are an important axis of research to EADS: the processes for developing airspace vehicles are characterised by the complexity of its products/systems, the important number of partners cooperating in a program and the security and strong certification constraints. Thanks to new information technologies and particularly those developed in OpenDevFactory sub project, EADS CCR aims is to improve EADS engineering systems, in allowing the global mastering of the product/system throughout its life cycle. EADS Space Transportation
EADS SPACE Transportation is a prime manager of the European Ariane 5 launcher, of the resupplying vehicle for the international ATV special station, of the European Colombus laboratory, of the manufacturing of missiles of the French dissuasion force and of other complex spatial systems. The definition of these complex systems is characterized by a large diversity of disciplines put into place in the engineering processes up to the factoring steps. Regarding the conception of embedded computer architectures, there exists a strong interdependence between Software and material engineering solutions and iterations are necessary during the refinement of the functional definition of the launching system or of the space vehicle, which can even happen during the construction of the products. EADS ST is expecting from IDM to allow the unification of different kinds of engineering activities which are used for the design of such systems in order to increase the productivity and decrease the mean time necessary for their development.
Electricité de France EDF SA the French historical operator operates on most of the electrical businesses, from production up to the marketing. In France, more than 85% of the electrical production depends on the 58 nuclear reactors. After 25 years of operation in the field, EDF’s objective is to extend the life of its installations to more than 40 years. This necessitates being able to master the costs of realisation and verification of the software components which will have to be renovated. The technological evolution of these software components requires to endowe ourselves with new tooling approaches in order to insure that they are able to fulfil their mission in a nuclear security context. Esterel
Esterel Technologies is a software editor which develops and markets development tools for critical embedded software in the airspace, automobile, transportation and energy domains. SCADE Suite is a modelling tool which contains a code generator qualified at the level A of the DO- 178B standard for the aeronautical applications and which is IEC 61508 certified for the transportation and energy applications. SCADE Drive supplies the same functionalities for the automobile domain. The Esterel technologies participation with Usine Logicielle allows the integration of theses tools in specific engineering suite, for example with UML/SysML link. Hispano Suiza

With FADEC International (Joint Venture, 50/50 Hispano-Suiza / BAE Systems) Hispano-Suiza is a privileged partner of the world wide biggest motorists since several decades and a world wide leader of the numeric regulation of more than 100 places civil aircrafts motors. Hispano-Suiza participates in the Usine Logicielle project for its R&T activities applied to the analysis and test generation which are able to bring substantial gains in terms of reliability as well as in cost. Hispano-Suiza targets in this project critical embedded systems and software. Institut Français du Pétrole
IFP is a research and industrial development, training and information services centre active in the fields of oil and gas, their use (in particular by vehicles), and the new energy and environmental technologies (pro-duction of fuels from biomass, synfuels, hydrogen, the capture and storage of CO2, etc.). In an international energy context marked by major challenges - renewing petroleum reserves, broadening the energy mix and combating climate change -, IFP's vocation is to innovate, developing and transferring the technologies that will make it possible to supply enough energy to meet growing world needs, especially in the transport and petrochemical sectors, lastingly and without harm to the environment, for the rest of the 21st century.
Institut National de la Recherche en Informatique et Automatique
INRIA, which stands for “institut national de recherche en informatique et en automatique” is operating under the control of both ministry of research and ministry of industry and has for mission to carry on the fundamental and applied research programs in the science and information technology domains. The institute handles technology transfer programs paying much attention to training through research, to scientific and technical information dissemination, to valuation, to expertise and to the participation to international programs. The INRIA’s participation in Usine Logicielle allows integrating prototypes issued from research activities of its different teams as for example the ATL model transformation environment and its associated tools coming from the AMMA model engineering platform. Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris VI

Laboratoire de Recherche Informatique
The software development and software engineering team of the LRI has obtained these last years, significant results on the software testing discipline from using formal models. These results have been applied to the Lustre language by the CEA (GATeL tool). In MoDriVal, the objective is to extend the GATeL system with random test generation which distribution is modulated depending on the model and of a coverage criteria. The advantage of this approach is that it automates the intensive tests of critical systems. Research & Technology Applied
